  It is still 600 and some days left to the election and we are already being flooded by news and controversies about who is going to be in the running and why they shouldn’t be. The most interesting storyline so far has been the rise of two unlikely candidates… Hilary Clinton, and Barak Obama. Why you may ask? Well one’s a woman and the other black. And why in this day and age of freedom, progress, equality and diversity does that matter? Well for one, its a first… and that has people raising eyebrows questioning there own moral judgements.

Another Idiot in Congress

Are you kidding me Rep. Virgil Goode… This guy, proud congressman and all, has got to have his head examined. Theres something to be said about belief systems, American pride and for standing up to make a difference, but as an elected official you represent the people, and you cannot portray the animosity and the hatred that came out of his letter, written in response to the swearing in of Rep. Keith Ellison on the Quran… instead of the bible.

Whether you are muslim, christian, jewish, american, arab or none of the above, there are many things wrong with what Goode is proposing. Apparently he has dreamed up an immigration reform, that scales back the immigration policies put in by Bill Clinton 10 years ago. It is not quite clear how his immigration reforms will prevent a targeted (Middle Eastern Mulsims) community from entering the United States.
